What is Radio Talent
for?
- The
industry is becoming more and more transient. This means that it becomes
harder for talent to be identified accurately; Radio Talent significantly
improves the identification and tracking process for individuals both
socially and professionally
- It
manages retains and develops the careers of all those who are listed by
offering a platform which not only allows feedback from professionals, but
which reaches the largest number of professionals in the industry.
- It
reduces acquisition costs for radio stations by offering free job
placements and available talent first.
- It
creates the largest commercial platform available today in radio for businesses
to reach Radio stations and the people who work in them
- It
saves time and money for members by offering a one page, one click resume
which is exponentially more effective and than a personal website
How busy is the site?
The site is now the busiest “professional” website in the
radio industry. We measure this both by our number of unique visitors (42000
per month) but also the number of pages clicked during each visit. Our average
visit time per visit is between 12-18 minutes which is extraordinarily high and
can be compared to sites like eBay. Whilst there may be sites which may have
higher daily or monthly unique visitors our site has a longer time frame and
pages clicked. We have also found after extensive IP address investigation that
86 percent of our users work in professional radio, media or production
companies. You can get more information by emailing help@radiotalent.co.uk
Why do I have to pay?
Radio Talent uses a large amount of internet bandwidth which
costs money. It also is a complex site with a number of functions which are
costly to sustain. Whilst You Tube also uses bandwidth and is free it is backed
by billions of dollars in venture capital and is not a specific and
professional based niche designed to make money for its users.
Having an agent for instance costs a person indirectly as
the persons commission covers the time and attention the agent conducts
managing the career and finding work for the artist.
Sending out demos by email or post also costs money, when
considering the time spent vs. results vs. professional equation.
Simply speaking all paid members will realise exceptional
benefits from investing in themselves this way. You can get more information by

I am a voiceover what
do I do?
As voiceovers is the most crowded marketplace in the arts
industry today the best advice is to make sure you are listed in as many places
which you genuinely think will be a worthy marketing exercise. There are some
successful voiceover sites around and we will happily recommend those to you.
The idea is to make sure your voice is seen by as many different people in as
many different places. Before making your investments take the initiative to
speak to the MD of the company, work out the costs and value and if you like
them do it. Like buying anything if you are not satisfied tell them or don’t
invest. Do ask if you are likely to get work, and do be clear about the
different types of visitors the sites have. Basically speaking if you are a
great business you will need to consider being listed in more than one place if
you can afford it.
You can get more information by emailing help@radiotalent.co.uk How do I get a demo?
Some of the best people in the world of broadcasting simply
aren’t doing it yet. As this might be you, it is natural you will need a demo.
We can produce demos for the following:
Newsreaders
Voiceovers
Presenters
The reason our demos might be better than those you might
get from a training course are that we will always make sure the content of
your demo is congruent with what a programmer wants to actually here and is
specific in its target. Plus our charges are lower.
Our demo production service comes coached by us and is based
on a one to one arrangement. You can get more information by emailing
