Experience: Tamara is hugely experienced and has worked as a voiceover artist and actress for over 20 years. Soap fans may remember her propping up the bar for over a decade as Joanna Ross-Gifford in STV's highly successful and long-running soap opera HIGH ROAD, or from TAGGART where she was happily ensconced among explosives and blood-spatter-patterns for a couple of years as forensics expert Sheila Crombie. Alongside her TV career Tamara has forged a busy career as a voiceover artist and this is now the main focus of her work. Tamara's experience as a voiceover artist covers all areas; she has narrated documentaries and series for the BBC and has recently started to work part time at BBC Scotland as an announcer/director. Tamara now has ISDN at home and links up with independent radio stations and recording studios around the UK and abroad on a daily basis to record commercials for everything from cars to chocolate to care homes. She is also much sought after for all types of corporate work as well as for radio short stories and drama. Her voice is rich and warm with a soft Scot's lilt which can easily slide into RP or something entirely different if required...but the best way to find out if her voice is the one for you is to give it a try!
