Sorts of Things You Would Like to Gain Experience In: Ideally I would like to learn from a fast paced news room, my current Broadcast Journalism course allows me invaluable access to Spark FM, where I source stories, write copy, edit and cut interviews and read the news live on air on a rotational hourly basis.
I would love to be met with new challenges, allowing me to gain skills and experience as well as giving me further opportunities to pursue a career within the radio industry as a broadcast journalist.
Over the last few years I have been actively seeking interviews with artists as a hobby, I've done this to improve upon my interviewing skills. I set my goals high and always want to achieve them and have been successful in interviewing the likes of Noel Gallagher and Sam Sparro as well as other artists from different fields such as TV, Sport and Comedy, this I reiterate was for my own pleasure but has given me valuable exposure when presenting myself to important and newsworthy individuals.
